I'm in the mood for five. Let's make a wish list.
1. Veg Tandoori platter
I really really really am craving for it. Cauliflowers, paneer tikka and potatoes all smothered in a kind of tandoori chilly paste oh my god I'm going to faint. This must be true love because it has occupied the most dominant portion of my brain for the last THIRTY HOURS. I am clearly insanely fixated.
Something is very wrong with me. I told you I needed therapy. Oh mind, distract please!
2. My bed
I cannot get enough of you. No, I just can't.
3. My pillow
4. My quilt
5. zzzzz

So where do you get these platters?
Phew! 70 posts in '08 and 22 in the last 30 days alone.... had a good run in Jan, didn't we? :-)
@ Ess: Eden and 10 D as far as I know. But I am talking about the one in Eden and let's just say, I am not craving anymore after last night's wish fulfilment. :D
@ Vimal: Thanks for reading and keeping count! :D
I read, and blogger keeps count.
Wow! You were at Eden last night? Some coincidence!
Are you kidding me!???!
Mine was the continental platter though :)
er... Harrington road or Besant nagar? :D
Chetput...
:( ...i knew it was too fantastic to be true!!!
Okay, ive figured u out now...ill tell u exactly what u want - The veg cilantro in cafe picasso... if u liked the platter in Eden, you will kill for this!
Will try that next time. I love the enchilada there. Okay STOP IT!!! I just managed to get over my tandoori platter addiction I don't want to start ANOTHER ONE!!
The tandoori veg-something in Tangerine... Its not very spicy, but absolutely incredible.
Stay away from me. I am bad influence. :)
FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
i just had dinner... but i want to eat again!!
btw, i have a question for you.
what do u call an overpriced, but mediocre bakery located in a posh mall which is popular just because it is patronized by a lot of pretty girls who think it is awesome?
Lol...a bakery? I really don't know.
well it IS a bakery, but they call themselves "cafe"
Ahhh...I was suspecting Cafe Coffee Day...
nope. sweet chariot cafe. You like it too. why? WHY?????
No I don't! I like REAL FOOD!
Yestarra!!! Don't lie!!! You ADORE SWC!!! You do! you do!
Read your own blog!!!!
Dai. I just went back in time to understand what you're talking about. The case in point is my observation of a PICTURE of a chocolate mousse from Sweet Chariot which was in the paper. I didn't actually go there. I had it somewhere else.
Not that I have anything MAJOR against the place. It's just that I had a rather slightly traumatic surprise party for my 19th birthday there which was combined with another friend's and we were waiting and waiting and waiting for her the whole day and I had to sustain myself on a paneer pie and didn't even get BIRTHDAY CAKE!
you have just redeemed yourself in my eyes.
you shld chk out the french loaf in chetpet. thats some bakery.
and oh... i could write a treatise on where to eat chocolate in madras! and SWC wont feature in it.
What's to eat today? I discovered the scrumptiousness of Raaj Bhavan in Purusawalkam yesterday.
YOU are kidding me!!!! I was thinking about going there last weekend!!!!!!!! (does thinking about going count?)
and btw, that was a quick reply.
er...no, actually. I was thinking about that Rajasthani restaurant in Purasawalkan. I forget its name, but I don't think its called Raaj Bhavan. You should go there sometime. you will love it!
You're clowning around, right? RIGHT??? (Baby corn gravy, btw! And kadai paneer. But of course, never again. It's going to be Spinach soup and water from now on for me)
Hehehe, just realised that I had not replied to a lot of your comments on old posts. So.
Lol..which restaurant is that? And btw, have you ever wandered down the streets of Purusawalkam after 7? I love the pure liveliness of the place-the bright lights, the noise, the mess. I mean, I'm sure there are other more clamorous places (Mylapore? Pondy Bazaar?) but I recently visited it for some work, and it totally struck me. It's not pretty but I felt so ALIVE. Lol.

Picasso's become so expensive. But I love their Mexican. Um, I think I talk too much about food. Must shut up.
cafe picasso? Are u kidding me?! That verde cilantro is worth its weight in gold!
But it has become expensive over the years, yes...im probably their oldest patron (er.. i mean, the longest-standing / oldest....not the "oldest" oldest, if you know what i mean...)
:D
#30 - I will tell you the name of the Rajasthani restrnt next week. you will love it.
Mylapore is probably the place I'd miss the most if I ever leave madras. And Adyar...college, adyar bakery, countless hours spent debating the pointlessness of existence and coming to the unanimous conclusion that life is no good. ill miss adyar too. just too many memories
it makes me sad.
You and your Adyar bakery. LOL.
Is it the restaurant next to heaven (AKA Bombay Halwa House)? That Rajasthani Thali or something?
YES! Thats the one!
dont tell me you dont like it :(
Haven't been there. Am gonna be at Chin Chin, Residency Towers tonight. Are you? :)
I wasn't going to, but now ill be thinking abt it. So, the karmic energy will be there anyway.
